sneaky

Lyla was supposed to be sleeping but I could hear noises coming from her room so I went to check on her. I found her sitting up in her crib just chillin'. She's such a sneak! While I normally give her a talk and tell her it's time to take a nap, this time I couldn't help but beam with pride instead. She hasn't been able to figure out how to get from lying to sitting up until today at nap. So what's a mom to do but laugh, praise her for learning to sit up on her own and then snap a few pictures. I did eventually swaddle her and make her go to sleep...

**Now it's day two and she once again figured out how to sit up in the crib. The problem is that she couldn't figure out how to lay down to sleep. Poor girl! I heard her crying and went in to check on her and she was sitting up in the corner of her crib with the look on her face that said she didn't know what to do next. She'll get the hang of it eventually.
