fun times

I just thought I'd post a few pictures to show what we have been up to the past few months:

Lyla learned about the toilet paper roll and LOVES to unroll it.I'm not sure if all kids like to do this or just mine but she puts her hands in her hair during mealtime and it always seems to be the times when her hands are the messiest! That guarantees a bath for her which she loves. Maybe that's why she does it...

A few weeks ago we went back to the midwest and saw both of our families. When we were in Chicago visiting Kyle's family Lyla got to meet some of her great grandparents.

She had a great time "playing" cards with her great grandparents on my mom's side of the family. They enjoyed playing with her too.

Lyla got to celebrate Halloween this year dressed as a lamb. My mom made the costume and did a really good job on it. Lyla wasn't sure what to think but she did look really cute. And while she wasn't able to eat the candy this year she held on to a couple of pieces for dear life. We went trick-or-treating at both my grandparents houses.

While we were in St. Louis my parents gave this walker/scooter to Lyla as an early Christmas present and boy does she like it. Whenever we come down for the morning she heads straight to it.
