Week 27. Today was her 6 month check-up. Everything went well. She got 3 shots today and was a trooper. She cried when she the needles went in but that was it. We are fortunate that she isn't crabby during the day and doesn't get a fever either. She's weighing 14.7 lbs. (25th percentile) and is 24 1/2" long (10th percentile). She's still so little. Apparently Kyle was a runt until mid-high school so we're guessing she is taking after him. Fortunately though she's packed on enough pounds that her summer clothes somewhat fit. Today I gave her a sippy cup with water. The doctor suggested that I start giving it to her. She had no idea what to do with it. She thought it was a chew toy. I'm sure she will figure it out soon enough but it was funny watching her try to munch on it.
Oh and yesterday we saw that her second bottom tooth is coming in. I'm curious to see how long it will take them to fully come in.
Hey, nothing wrong with being a late bloomer! (says Aunt Eppie, who didn't hit 5 feet until junior year of high school...). Love the crawling video--it looks just like the breast stroke! =-)
