52 weeks of lyla

Week 37. I am caught up on posting her weekly picture. Finally. Now I'll try to catch you up on other tidbits of our daily life in the next few days. Nothing urgent but some funny things to share.

A little story behind the dress. I saw this dress in a magazine and fell in love with it but didn't know what the brand was. Shortly after seeing the dress I was shopping for a friend who was about to have a baby and I came across this cute yellow polka dot dress at Macy's. I loved it, bought it and brought it home only to realize that this was the same yellow dress from the magazine. I really wanted to get one for Lyla too but she has plenty of summer clothes (thanks to many of you!) and knew Kyle wouldn't support my "need" to get this dress. However a few days later I was at the mall buying another gift when Lyla spit up, in mass, all over her outfit. She was soaked and that was the one day I didn't have a spare outfit in her diaper bag. So what was I to do but head to Macy's and buy her this dress. :-) It was the one time I was glad she spit up!
