Ever since Lyla gave up her morning nap, we've been working on room time for her. It teaches her to play by herself, gives me a little time to get things done and looking towards the future will probably be helpful when baby number two arrives in a few months.
It had been going really well until the other day... After she had been in her room for awhile I heard a thud and then I heard her say "uh-oh" repeatedly, much like that of a broken record. Realizing that was probably not a good sign I went to check things out and this is what I found...
We haven't ever seen Lyla scale her changing table before and if I can help it we won't ever see her do it again. At least we know she comes by her nickname "monkey" (one of many nicknames) honestly.

ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, that's hilarious! She really IS a monkey! I love how at the end she's trying to figure out if she should laugh about it or play sheepish. :-)
ReplyDeleteHow funny...well, probably not for you though. Hayden has started climbing up on the changing table too. I have two Monkey's and believe me Hunter is a Monkey. Hope all is going well. Miss you guys and hope you have fun with the Michels!!!
